Couples & Sex Therapist

Philly Couples & Sex Therapy hires licensed or license eligible therapists on a rolling basis. Applicants must have experience with relational clients and and have sexuality training. 

 

As of 2024 we are especially interested in Marriage and Family Therapists, AASECT Certified Sex Therapists, and LPC or LCSW clinicians who are able to provide clinical supervision.

 

We are seeking therapists who align with the following:

- Sex-Positive and affirming of polyamory, kink, and sex work

- Experience in working with queer, trans and gender non conforming clients

- Interest and experience in working with both individuals and relational systems (friends, couples, families, etc) 

- Interest in running groups or hosting workshops is a plus! 

- Comfortable working with Sex Therapy concerns 

- Familiar with anti-racist/anti-oppressive practices and regularly challenging oppressive systems in and out of their role as a therapist

- Responsive, driven, and passionate about bettering the field of therapy

- Willingness to engage in difficult conversations and brave spaces 

- Has systemic training and primarily uses systemic models of intervention

 

Position details:

- W2, Full Time (18+ clients/week)

- Hybrid: 1-2 days in person in center city  

- Flexible fee and schedule (either evening or weekend hours are needed)

- 50/50 fee split to start (increases pertaining to time, caseload, licensure are built in)

- Health Insurance offered pre tax via payroll

- $500 annual continuing education stipend

- Individual and Group Supervision

Applicants should hold a master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, or Clinical Social Work in the state of Pennsylvania. Queer, Trans, and BIPOC applicants will be prioritized to best serve our community.
